CF8200P

Model CF8200 Ultrasonic Film Cleaner

Sealed cabinet. The cabinet and door sealing has been 1 refined to minimize vapor escape and minimize 1 consumption.

Additional Filtration. The CF 8200 incorporates a multiple cartridge filtering system especially designed for the special properties of Novec 82OO.This system also reduces distillation downtimes.

Stainless steel solvent and vapor lines. New construction techniques and improved seals further reduce vapor loss to decrease running costs.

Higher Cleaning Speeds. Novec allows successful cleaning and drying at running speeds up to 240 fpm.

Refrigerated vapor recovery. The CF 8200 refrigerates the circulating air in the cabinet, as well as vapor in the film drying locations, to maximize solvent usage performance Increased buffer speed. Essential to ensuring acceptable cleaning standards, the wet buffers now rotate at over 200 rpm.

High performance ultrasonics. The CF 8200 has an ultrasonic system nearly four times more powerful than previous designs. This ensures consistent cleaning results time after time.

Because of it's unique properties, it is not practical to use Novec 8200 in film cleaning machines designed for chlorinated solvents. There may be material incompatibilities, inadequate ultrasonic and cleaning arrangements and unnecessary levels of solvent losses.

The CF8200 incorporates the latest generation of powerful ultrasonic generator which is user adjustable — an industry first!
Operates at a higher frequency of 40 KHz and produces more cleaning power with 50% more ultrasonic transducers. More powerful cleaning action with the same important film safety built in.

Clean Film Without Perchloroethylene
Lipsner-Smith proudly announces the development of technology to allow use of one of the world's most advanced cleaning liquids, 3M Novec 8200 Engineered Fluid.

Novec 8200 has many properties that make it ideal for use with motion picture film.

The new CF 8200 has been especially designed for use with Novec 8200. Together they achieve dramatically improved solvent performance and enhanced cleaning ability. As a result, you realize safe, cost effective and high performance cleaning, without the handling issues of chlorinated solvents.

Novec 8200 and the improved cleaning machine design allows a top speed of 240 fpm (66m/min), more than double the speed of previous perchloroethylene based models.
